LMKG Bunny Cont.

I started knitting the Rabbit. I'm using the Noro Cotton Iroha with size 6 needles and it's knitting up pretty fast. Today I went to String of Purls and bought a ball of that Anny Blatt Angora for the inner ears. I got a variegated ball that will look super cute and unique, I think. There are some pinks and reds in it that will complement the red Noro beautifully. I had fun just browsing through the store slowly. I wanted to buy some more of those Bryspun needles, but I resisted the urge. I wasn't that impressed with the Manuel de Uruguay (sp?). They only had a couple of skeins and it was that self patterning type. One of the skeins looked alright, but I think I could make a good hat with some of the Lamb's Pride I have here just as easily. Or for half the price if I decide to make those hats anyway. I'm hoping to finish the rabbit this week. I'd really like to have it done for when David and Brandi come, but I'm not sure I'll have time with my work schedule.

LMKG Bunny

I'm using size 6 24" Bryspun Circular knitting needles (just bought today from String of Purls) to make the bunny from LMKG. I might buy a little pink angora for the ears when I get closer to finishing. I'm so excited to make some of the things in that book. One of the ladies at String helped me with some things. They're always really nice there. I might use some of the other balls of yarn to make the camisol from LMKG.

Umbilical Cord Hat #2

I finished an identical umbilical cord hat and sent it to Chris and Nicole for Aubrey along with a little pair of pink booties. It was a cute little outfit. There was a whole ordeal at the Post Office since the main part was closed because of Veteran's Day, but I learned how to use the automated machine and I may never go to that other part again. Wow. Easy peasy, baby. Unfortunately, I couldn't package it as I'd hoped, so I had to put it in one of those oddly indestructible envelopes, but hopefully everything made it there safely.
Now, I'm working on:
Mike's second sock
French Market Bag
Baby Booties from LMKG

Other projects I've started and need to finish:
My purple sock
My other Jo Sharp sock

I have so much yarn I want to use up, but I'm not sure what to make with it. Lots of sock yarn, but I hate checking gauge. Maybe I'll just see what I can do and have it for those times when I have my full attention to devote to a more complicated pattern.
